Existing Construction Assessment

Verify the condition of a building or site as part of your due diligence.

Texas Accessibility Standards Compliance Review

Texas law requires that ALL new construction meet the TAS. Projects with a construction valuation of $50,000 or more are required to be registered, reviewed, and inspected for compliance with the 2012 TAS. Exceptions: Residential (single- and multi-family), Federal projects

Multi-family FHA Compliance

All multi-family projects are required to comply with the Fair Housing Act Guidelines. The only parts of a rental property that are required to be compliant with the Texas Accessibility Standards is the Leasing Office and surrounding sitework – to provide public accommodation.

Construction Inspections: ADA / TAS / FHA

An essential step in compliance with Standards is to conduct a post-construction inspection. This is required for TAS projects and for some licensed facilities that accept Medicare / Medicaid.
